the location was super lovely and perfect for walkin around oxford. we arrived late and the staff from the restaurant next door were so kind and helpful with check-in and even offered us dinner as the kitchen was closing! really enjoyed the stay and the family room was comfy and clean. overall, great value for the price!
there was no breakfast and the bathroom was a bit on the small side. also, the shower area was slippery which could be a problem for older folks.

Perfect spot for solo travelers
I had a beautiful and spacious room. The staff were extremely helpful, even offered me pastries upon arrival!
It wasn't inexpensive, but still decent enough.

The room was clean and comfortable, but check-in was confusing without a reception desk.

A stay above a Lebanese restaurant offered quick access to the city center, making it easy to explore nearby shops and universities. Despite the plain room, the comfort was adequate for a short visit, and the friendly service from the restaurant staff was a highlight. The noise from the restaurant at night slightly disrupted sleep, and parking availability was limited during the day, though street parking was an option at night.

The Jericho’s blend of quaint charm and modern amenities truly captivated me. the stylish decor around made me feel like I was in a cozy bookshop, and the short, easy walk into town was a lovely touch.
More comfortable seating areas would be appreciated.

The absence of a traditional reception desk makes check-in somewhat confusing, as you'll find yourself having to track someone down in the adjoining restaurant. Noise from neighboring rooms can be intrusive. conversations or even late-night activities from other guests carry through clearly. Without air conditioning, the summer heat can be uncomfortable, especially without a fan until late in the stay. A peculiar design feature includes a large mirror behind the bed, which isn't practical and adds an odd ambiance to the space.

Convenient location and delightful breakfast
I stayed for one night in a Standard Double Room above a Lebanese restaurant in Oxford. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was fantastic for exploring the city on foot. Breakfast included delicious options from the restaurant downstairs, making my morning enjoyable. the lack of a traditional reception area made check-in a bit tricky.

This budget hotel really stands out for its location. It's nestled in a quiet side street, just a stone's throw from the city center. I loved being able to explore Oxford on foot with ease. The check-in process was a bit confusing since there's no traditional front desk. I had to find staff in the restaurant below. The man who checked me in was friendly and helpful, providing great tips on local attractions. Breakfast in the Lebanese restaurant downstairs offered a nice choice between Lebanese and English options that I enjoyed. The room itself, while plain, was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, it did get a bit noisy at night due to the restaurant below, but it wasn't enough to disturb my sleep. On the downside, I found it difficult to contact hotel staff during the day since their office wasn't always open, which made it tricky when I had questions. I noticed that the bathroom needed some TLC. there were issues with cleanliness that could be improved. No available parking during the day was a hassle too, though you can park on the street at night.

The location suited my needs perfectly, being a short walk to Keble College. My room was spacious, with a comfy bed that made my stay pleasant.
The dining options were rather basic. I expected a bit more variety.
